在職場上與他人產生衝突且嚴重到長期處於不友善的關係中,便是所謂的職場霸凌。本研究從「權力」觀點切入、以權力依賴理論分析國內職場霸凌的現象,研究以質化的深度訪談法進行,共計18位受訪者。結果發現,(1) 當維持依賴關係的權力源自於正式管道時最易發生下行霸凌,受害者通常選擇忍氣吞聲;(2) 同儕間的平行霸凌主要來自非正式權力與社會支持的運作,受害者多數以積極作為回應;(3)「閒談」扮演重要角色,會增進霸凌的發展與強度。
英文摘要
Workplace bullying means having a conflict with someone more than once and continually to be in an unfriendly relationship. For realizing this condition comprehensively, we apply Emerson’s power-dependency theory to analyze and work through in-depth interview. Finally the results show that (1) formal power-dependence relation usually results in downwards bullying, and the targets choose to swallow an insult; (2) horizontal bullying between colleagues comes from informal power and social support in the same time, and most of the targets response actively; (3) Gossip plays an important role in workplace bullying, because it could speed up the development of bullying and enhance the intensity.
