鄭州煙草研究院副院長謝劍平 2011 年當選中國工程院院士後，被媒體稱為“煙草
院士”，並引發公眾輿論的熱烈討論。“煙草院士”新聞彰顯了中國院士制度的弊端及國家
和科學權力的結盟，也呈現出公眾和社會對科學主義的反省。“煙草院士”而形成的媒介事
件，未必能在任何可見程度上觸動既定的中國科學體制和科學利益集團。然而，官方組織及
其宣傳機構在“煙草院士”媒介事件中表現出英雄敘事的乏力，媒體、公眾及社會團體對科
技權力話語的批評，形成了對科學主義神話的強力解構。
