This paper in the perspective of parents, use conversational analysis to analyze
the parent-child dialogue in the cartoon Peppa Pig discusses the following three
problems: (1) how parents respond to children's request; (2) the parents how to
effectively request for children; (3) the entitlement relationship between parents
and children in the "request" . A conversation analysis of request and response
between parents and children in Peppa Pig can provide beneficial reference for real
parents construct harmonious parent-child relationship.
