本研究目的為透過時事型網路影音創作者(YouTuber),了解新媒體網絡生態、創作內容、表現方式與影像敍事。研究方法將以質性文本分析與深度訪談法進行。個案選擇將以國內目訂閱人數較高、較為知名的時事型YouTuber為例,以其瀏覽數量最高的前五則影片進行影像敍事分析。其次,針對 2020年中華民國總統副總統及立法委員選舉首投族群(20-24歲)進行深度訪談,了解他們是否觀看時事型YouTuber,觀看之動機為何,了解網路影音創作者如何影響其政治資訊與政治態度。  

英文摘要

The purpose of this research is to conduct through current-affair YouTubers to appreciate the network ecology of media, creative content, ways of expression, and image narration. For the first year of the project, it will proceed with qualitative text analysis and in-depth interviews. As for case selection, the project will base on current- affair YouTubers, which has a relatively higher number of subscribers in Taiwan and so as reputation for illustration, and the top five videos with the highest browsing population will be used for image narration analysis. Second, in-depth interviews on the first-time voter groups (aged between 20 to 24) for the 2020 election for president, vice president and legislators of ROC are conducted to find out if they are watching current-affair YouTubers, what are their motivations for watching, and how YouTubers influence their political information as well as political attitudes. In the subsequent year that follows the qualitative research results, online questionnaires will be carried out to understand the influence by YouTubers towards the reception of political information and political participation on these young audiences.
