As an important media of today ’s communication, Internet brings strong impact to female. Based on the network situation of the main land China, and the investigation in the Tsinghua University, the paper shows the unequal network status between male and female, analyzes the cause of those status and the Internet influence to women. While there are more and more female using the net, some language and behavior show "big man" and "small woman" in Internet. Most woman ’s web sites also copy the image of traditional woman again and again. A better environment is needed for woman in the information age. To create a good relationship between male and female on the Internet, it will help the development of female , and the development of Internet as well.
