This research from Foucault ’s viewpoint, recollection energetic medicine history, and attempt to expose the melancholia behind report authority relations. This research use the discourse analysis to analysis of four newspapers, China Times, United Daily News, Liberty Times, and Apple Daily News in November, 2006, the altogether 111 pieces with the melancholia correlation report. In the melancholia report, the medicine and the science displays the method of discipline to the masses through media, penetrates from the human body into the mind, the mood expresses also by normalization. The novel medical research has consolidated the authority of science, the most poor melancholia patient ’s sound dissipates in the hurrah of science, and the government role also flees without a trace in this discourse.
