Konwledge globalization is one of the current concerns among globalization issues. This study intends to examine the globalization process of communication theories through 911 masters ’ theses in the past about 50 years on Taiwan. The study finds there is a time lag of more or less ten years in the local theses which apply communication theories globally. Professors paly important roles as change agents in the knowledge globalization process. And the findings are consistent for both quantitative and qualitative research theses.
