How Technology mediate life? the reconstruction of Shao Juo-iPad domestic relationship

本文採取深度訪談法(In-depth Interview)進行研究，並採質性分析策略探
索個案代表之理論意涵。筆者根據科技眷養論(Domestication of technology)
中的主要概念，進一步設計半結構的訪談綱要，用以分析台灣大學一位「iPad」
使用者個案-小宇(匿名)，其日常生活與該「新」科技物關係的建立過程與其對
科技物意義賦予的理論意涵。本文將著重的面向，聚焦於科技眷養的四大過程，
即挪用(Appropriation)、對象化(Objection)、整合(Incorporation)與轉化
(Convertion)等科技眷養過程之探索與分析。最後，本文企圖繪製「科技眷養網
絡分析圖」，以重構「小宇－iPad」之關係。

This article studied Tablet user’s domestic process using a qualitative
method (in-depth Interview). Accrording to the theory of Domestication
of technology,the author designed semi-structured interview outline,
analyzing a special iPad user(Shao-Juo) from National Taiwan
University(NTU). The author described the constructing process
(ie.Appropriation,Objection, Incorporation,and Convertion) of the
domestic relationship on Shao-Juo and his iPad. Finally,this article
drawed a “Domestication of technology network”picture as a
reconstruction for user-technology relationship.
